KP Astrology System

The Most Comprehensive 16-Planet Reference Guide

Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) system expands classical astrology by incorporating all 16 significant planetary points — 7 traditional planets, 2 lunar nodes (Rahu & Ketu), 3 outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto), and 4 advanced points (Chiron, Lilith, Vertex, Part of Fortune). Predictions are made through analysis of significators, sub-lords, house cusps, nakshatra positions, conjunctions, aspects, and sign placements. This guide covers every combination in detail.

The 16 Planets — Master Reference

Rulers, Karakas, Exaltation, Debilitation & Key Significations

In system, each of the 16 planetary points is a significator for specific houses and life areas. The 7 classical planets (Sun–Saturn) are primary karakas. Rahu and Ketu amplify and spiritualize house effects. The outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) bring sudden, generational changes. Chiron, Lilith, Vertex, and Part of Fortune add karmic and spiritual dimensions.

Significators in Greenstone Lobo's KP System

The 4-Tier Significator System — Core of All KP Predictions

A significator of a house is any planet connected to that house through: (1) Occupation, (2) Ownership, (3) Constellation of occupants, or (4) Constellation of the house lord. This 4-tier significator system is the backbone of KP predictions by Greenstone Lobo.

ORDER OF SIGNIFICATORS (KP Priority — Strongest First)

  1. 1st Order (Strongest): Planets in the STAR (Nakshatra) of planets OCCUPYING the house
  2. 2nd Order: Planets OCCUPYING the house directly
  3. 3rd Order: Planets in the STAR of the house LORD
  4. 4th Order (Weakest): The house LORD itself
Also include planets conjunct with the above significators within 5° orb, and planets that aspect the cusp sub-lord.

SUB-LORD THEORY (KP Master Key)

Each cusp and planet occupies a Star (Nakshatra) and a Sub. The Sub-Lord determines whether a house GIVES results or not. This is K.S. Krishnamurti's greatest discovery, used by Greenstone Lobo extensively.

  • 7th cusp sub-lord signifies 2,7,11 → marriage will happen
  • 7th cusp sub-lord signifies 6,8,12 → obstacles in marriage
  • 10th cusp sub-lord signifies 6,10,11 → career success in service
  • 5th cusp sub-lord signifies 2,5,11 → children will be born
  • Sub-lord in maraka houses (2,7) = health concern period

Special Yogas & KP Prediction Rules

Advanced Rules from Greenstone Lobo's KP System

KP astrology uses precise rules for timing events through the dasha system, transit analysis, and sub-lord examination. Greenstone Lobo's contributions include expanded use of outer planets, 16-point system for significators, and specific rules for analyzing multiple planet conjunctions in the context of the KP sub-lord system.

📐 KP Sub-Lord Rules for Major Life Events

+
Marriage
7th cusp sub-lord must signify 2 (family), 7 (partner), 11 (fulfillment). If it signifies 6, 8, 12 = obstacles. Love marriage additionally requires 5th house connection. Timing: Mars/Venus/Jupiter/7th lord dasha running.
Children/Birth
5th cusp sub-lord must signify 2 (family increase), 5 (children), 11 (fulfillment). Jupiter as natural karaka must be strong. Timing: Jupiter dasha or 5th lord dasha running at time of conception.
Career/Job
10th cusp sub-lord must signify 6 (employment), 10 (profession), 11 (income). For promotion: add current position-related houses. Timing: 10th lord, 6th lord, or 11th lord dasha running.
Property Purchase
4th cusp sub-lord must signify 4 (property), 11 (fulfillment), 12 (investment expenditure). For sale of property: 4 (property given up), 3 (change), 11 (gains from sale). Timing: 4th lord or Jupiter dasha.
Foreign Travel/Settlement
12th cusp sub-lord must signify 9 or 12 (foreign). Also check 3rd (short travel) and 9th (long travel). For settlement: add 11th (staying). Timing: 12th lord, Rahu, or Saturn dasha running.
Health Issues
6th cusp sub-lord signifying 6, 8, 12 indicates health problems. The planet involved shows which body part is affected. Timing: 6th lord or maraka (2nd/7th lord) dasha period. Recovery: 11th house activation helps.
Financial Gains
11th cusp sub-lord must be strong and signify 2 (savings), 6 (income from work), 10 (profession), 11 (gains). Multiple 11th house significators in dasha = multiple income streams. Jupiter dasha generally brings financial expansion.
Spiritual Progress
12th cusp sub-lord signifying 9 (dharma), 12 (moksha), Ketu strong = spiritual progress. Ketu dasha or Neptune dasha with 12th house activation brings spiritual breakthroughs and inner awakening experiences.

⭐  16-Planet System — Unique Contributions

+
Outer Planets in KP
Greenstone Lobo pioneered the integration of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto into KP analysis. These planets are included as secondary significators of houses they occupy. Their dasha periods (used in Western astrology) are incorporated to time sudden (Uranus), spiritual (Neptune), and transformative (Pluto) events.
Chiron as Karmic Healer
Chiron's house and sign placement is analyzed to identify the native's core karmic wound and healing gift. Chiron returns (around age 50) are identified as major life healing milestones. When Chiron is conjunct natal planets, those planets' life areas become healing focal points.
Lilith — Shadow Work
Black Moon Lilith's placement reveals where the native's shadow self operates and where repressed authentic power seeks expression. Lilith transits to natal planets (especially Moon and Venus) indicate periods of shadow integration and power reclamation.
Vertex — Fated Meetings
When planets transit or progress to the natal Vertex, fated encounters occur. The anti-Vertex (180° opposite) shows what the native brings to fated encounters. Vertex-Vertex synastry contacts between two charts indicate destined, soul-contract type relationships.
Part of Fortune — Prosperity Activation
Part of Fortune's house and sign shows where prosperity naturally flows. Transits to PoF by Jupiter and Venus activate prosperity periods. Natal planets conjunct PoF within 5° are particularly fortunate and provide prosperity through their natural significations.
Extended Significator Network
With 16 planetary points, the significator network for any house becomes much more extensive than in traditional KP. This provides more timing windows, more nuanced predictions, and accounts for sudden (Uranus), gradual spiritual (Neptune), and transformative (Pluto) timing layers alongside the traditional dasha system.

Advanced Planetary Points — Expanded Guide

Chiron, Lilith, Vertex & Part of Fortune in Depth
